I was impressed with how interactive this class was and how easy our teacher made it for us to understand. I left with actual pivot table building skills and impressed my colleague this morning with it! I recommend this class for all levels of excel experience!

“Data Jump Start” w Excel was the perfect class to showcase some of the potential of Excel. Our instructor Nick, was punctual, polite, extremely knowledgeable & patient with the diverse group. He was able to stay on track and go over a lot in 2.5 hours. Looking forward to taking the sequel. I came into this class w little knowledge-coursera, trial and error and you-tube. So much easier with an in class experience-and the cost compared to Coursera. Thank you!

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to review the great experience I had at Data Jump. I was able to bring my own equipment and plug-in. The room was an intimate class room environment.

Excel is anew again and very powerful. Therefore I thank PROMOTABLE for teaching and demonstrating its attributes!

As a recent college graduate I was working a completely non-technical job (as a recruiter), but I knew that Data Analytics was a field that I wanted to break into. I chose to invest my after-work time into Promotable’s courses as a way for me to gain technical experience, and both boost my resume and learn about fundamental analytical tools and concepts. 3 months later I landed the technical position that I wanted and learned a lot along the way.

I took the courses “Data Analytics for Business” and “Python 101 for Data Science” which were 6 weeks and 5 weeks, respectively. I was able to do both online which was super helpful for me since in-person wasn’t feasible. The instructor I had, Vikram, was fantastic. He was really helpful explaining all the concepts, but more importantly to me I could tell he was extremely passionate about his work.

As far as the subject matter, I think you get as much out of the course as you choose to put in. It was important to me to nail down my SQL skills so I worked extra hard outside of class to make sure I knew all the concepts we covered in class. I also gained experience with Excel, Tableau, and of course, extensive experience with Python. I highly recommend Promotable to anyone who is looking to further their career with Data Analytics.

Really enjoyed Promotable’s Intro to Analytics course. The instructors were knowledgeable, helpful, and engaging. Topics covered ranged from understanding the basics of data, leveraging data through basic to intermediate SQL queries, setting up PosgreSQL locally, Tableau data import, worksheet visualizations, and dashboard build-outs. I definitely got my money’s worth as instruction material was relevant and exercises/assignments really pushed me to discover more about how I can harness data. Definitely a great starting point for data beginners in both SQL and Tableau

I learned so much from the Promotable team during their data analytics course. I got a strong grasp on understanding data, as well as how to tell a story with the results of a data analysis. I’ve already been able to put the skills I gained to work at my day job!

Data Jumpstart was an effective class for learning to create quick, easily digestible data visualizations using Excel. For the price, the class was highly effective and I left with confidence in how to manipulate spreadsheets into delivering insights.
