Noble Desktop is one of the oldest accelerated tech schools around. It was founded in 1990 and has helped hundreds of students with its project-based, hands-on training technique. Certification is also available for its courses.
Noble Desktop also happens to be one of the few tech institutes that has maintained in-person classes despite the pandemic. Strict social distancing measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of all students and teachers. However, you can also take the courses online if you prefer.
As stated above, the Noble Desktop programs are divided into three main categories. These are coding, design, and business. However, each bootcamp category contains individual classes that help students get an extensive understanding of the subject.
The coding offering includes over 14 programs for specific aspects of coding. Each one has its own fee. Courses include Web Development, iOS Development, JavaScript, Python, Ruby on Rails, and SQL. Some other courses to choose from are Data Science, Machine Learning, FinTech, and WordPress. You can also learn about React, the open-source library.

My team and I had a great experience at Noble Desktop. We do not work in Sketch often, but many of our partners do. The Sketch in a Day class has allowed us to work better across business functions and has increased our teams efficiency. We will definitely return for other courses in the future. Our instructor Dan was patient and extremely knowledgeable in Sketch as well as helpful plug-ins to make work easier.

I really enjoyed this class and got a lot more confident with my design skills. My one complaint is that I wish it was a little longer. I feel like I progressed so much every class and I would have liked that to keep going for another few weeks

Noble Desktop has day classes but better than that they have evening classes in the beginner, intermediate and advanced ranges so you can get the amount of knowledge you need. I just finished their Visual Design and an Adobe Premiere Bootcamp which makes me feel I am ready to add some fine new prices to my portfolio.
Look, it’s conveniently on your time and terms, why not get better prepared for your next better job.

The After Effects Level 2 Class at Noble Desktop was fantastic. I have a design background so it was great to have a class that focused heavily on learning an application, rather than too much repetition on the fundamentals of design. The exercises are very current and I felt comfortable enough to use their techniques in projects after taking the class. The NYC location was easy to get to and the overall set-up was very tailored to learning. Highly recommend their courses.

I was a beginner to InDesign. Even just upon opening the program I would get anxious that I might hit one key and erase any work I had previously done (and taken forever to do!) After Sneha worked her magic I have no more nerves! While I can always improve on a program like this, I definitely feel like I can navigate the program really well now and even enjoy the process as I do so. The workbook you take home is something I still refer to. Sneha the instructor was patient, informed, and taught things at just the right pace. I really appreciated this offering.

Amazing class with top of the line teachers. With every class you receive a how-to-guide book with online code, and unlimited re-takes. I learned so much from their classes and they are usually just one day. Absolutely crazy!

Being a science teacher for 35 years and an amateur self-taught video editor, I couldn’t imagine how someone could teach Adobe Premier Pro in a Day. I had low expectations. But Kalika Kharkar Sharma pulled it off. She is not only a pro when it comes to video editing, she’s a great teacher. Her approach is what the Boy Scouts call the “EDGE” method: Explain, Demonstrate, Guide, Enable. From the start, she was prepared on multiple levels. She knew what she wanted to accomplish and how fast she had to move. She spoke quickly but, after explaining and demonstrating the points, she instructed everyone to do what she had done by following explicit written directions in a course booklet. Her guiding hand was readily available for all who needed it. She then moved ahead to the next steps repeating the same approach. The booklet was ours to keep along with the downloadable class files to enable everyone to go home and do it all over again. It was also great to hear that we could come back within six months and take the same course again for free. It should be said that the booklet is extremely well done and a valuable resource. I intend to go back for more.

I’ve been going to Noble for quite a few years now over my design career. I’ve taken many coding and design classes and they have all been very helpful. The way the courses are set up allow you to follow along with the teacher and then break off to do exercises, helping you get a grasp of what was just presented to you. You get workbooks that you can take home in case you need a refresher or for a reminder whenever you need it. The Business courses are a little different, and coming from a design background I prefer the way the design and coding classes are set up. The business courses are more of a lecture, which I find it hard to grasp all of the information present because there isnt as much hands on compared to other courses. This is just the nature of the course though. I’ve taken probably close to 10 classes with Noble and overall have only had one mediocre experience out of all the classes, and its more to the fault of the actual material and lack of workbook, but some may prefer a lectured class over the latter.

SEO in a Day provides a solid foundation for anyone who needs a comprehensive SEO overview — what it means, how it works and best practices. If you work with web developers and SEO partners, this class will help you understand all of the terms being thrown around. The instructor also provided links to a number of resources for further exploration.
